TUAC
Trade Union Advisory Committee to the OECD
The Trade Union Advisory Committee to the OECD (TUAC) provides an interface for trade unions with the OECD. Representing them on an international level, the organization has consultative status within the OECD and in its commissions. In TUAC’s approach, it is a common interest of both businesses and trade unions to facilitate harmonious labour relations, which can be ensured by complying with the OECD Guidelines and by respecting the good offices of National Contact Points. When businesses and trade unions work together to adhere to the Guidelines, they develop best practices that are beneficial for inclusive jobs, for creating flexible businesses and for individual well-being.
