Organisational structure, members

The Hungarian National Contact Point (HNCP) is headed by an appointed leader chosen by the Minister responsible for economic policy (hereinafter: the Minister).

Composition of the HNCP is designed to provide professional competences needed to address the wide range of issues covered by the Guidelines. To this end, HNCP members - individuals of contract staff in service - are employed by the central state administration body and are nominated by the head of the HNCP:

• 4 persons delegated by the Ministry headed by the Minister responsible for economic policy,
• 2-2 persons delegated by the Ministries headed by the Minister responsible for foreign policy and by the Minister responsible for environment,
• 1-1 persons delegated by the Ministries headed by the Minister responsible for employment policy and by the Minister responsible for health insurance.

One of the HNCP members is entrusted with secretarial duties (hereinafter: the secretary of HNCP) by the head of the HNCP. The secretary of HNCP is currently an employee of the Strategic Department of EU Affairs.

The head and the members of the HNCP do not receive special remuneration for their work in the Hungarian National Contact Point.
