Organisational structure, members
The Hungarian National Contact Point (HNCP) is headed by an appointed leader chosen by the Minister responsible for economic policy (hereinafter: the Minister).
Composition of the HNCP is designed to provide professional competences needed to address the wide range of issues covered by the Guidelines. To this end, HNCP members - individuals of contract staff in service - are employed by the central state administration body and are nominated by the head of the HNCP:
a) 7 persons delegated by the Ministry headed by the Minister for Economic ,
b) 1 person delegated by the Ministry headed by the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Foreign Policy,
c) 4 persons delegated by the Ministry headed by the Minister for Justice,
(d) 1 delegate from the Ministry headed by the Minister for Public Administration and Territorial Development,
e) 1 person delegated by the Ministry headed by the Minister responsible for European Union Affairs,
(f) 1 delegate from the Ministry headed by the Minister for Culture and Innovation,
(g) 1 delegate from the Ministry headed by the Minister for Agriculture,
h) 1 person delegated by the Ministry headed by the Minister responsible for Corruption.
The Head of the MNCP shall appoint 1 person from among the members of the MNCP to act as Secretary (hereinafter referred to as the Secretary of the MNCP). The Secretary of the MNKP is currently a staff member of the European Union Strategy Department of the Ministry of National Economy.
One of the HNCP members is entrusted with secretarial duties (hereinafter: the secretary of HNCP) by the head of the HNCP. The secretary of HNCP is currently an employee of the Strategic Department of EU Affairs.
The head and the members of the HNCP do not receive special remuneration for their work in the Hungarian National Contact Point.
